Eggplant

So I bought one.  ANYONE know how to cook it? I just think it looks cool. And it's a pretty color. AND $.99!!!

From what I can tell, it needs to dry out? Ha, I'm clearly lost. But pumped about something new. All recommendations are welcome! Happy TUESDAY!
